LEGAL NOTICE - GRADUATE SURVEY

Data controller: Sciences Po (National Foundation of Political Sciences and the IEP of Paris).

Legal grounds: This survey is based on Article 6-1-e) of the GDPR regulation which states that "data processing is necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller".

Purpose: Online survey aimed at examining the professional integration of Sciences Po graduates.

Data recipients: The Direction de la Formation et de la Recherche and the Centre de données socio-politiques de Sciences Po, which will process the responses via Qualtrics. As well as any staff duly authorized by Sciences Po to directly or indirectly process the data, for the running and processing of this survey. The aggregated data will be shared with the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles for the purpose of disseminating the survey results on the employability of students with the main stakeholders in higher education and research and with the general public.

Data usage and methods of results publication: The data processed in this survey consists of anonymous responses to close-ended multiple-choice questions aimed at anonymously analyzing and communicating internally and externally the results and prospects of Sciences Po graduates’ professional integration. The survey also includes open-ended questions featuring non-anonymous data if the person has provided personal information. These data will be anonymized before any publication.

Retention period: The source data will be kept for a period of 6 (six) years on a current basis, for the purposes of processing in accordance with the purpose pursued. The data collected will potentially not be anonymous during collection, however all information collected during this survey will remain strictly confidential within the limits provided by the law. Intermediate archiving comprising aggregated data (raw data) is defined for a period of 20 (twenty) years for the purposes of comparison with previous and subsequent surveys, as well as for public research purposes. The final archiving of the aggregated data will be done in consideration and in compliance with the laws in force in terms of data protection and archiving, in particular governed by the General Data Protection Regulations and the Heritage Code.

Your participation: No publication or broader communication will contain any information that identifies you. By completing this questionnaire, you agree that the information entered will be used, exploited and processed according to the aforementioned conditions and for the purposes of this survey. In addition, your contact data, which is processed when the invitation to participate is sent, will not be included in the answers to the questionnaire. Thus, this contact data will not be reused or processed in the context of this survey.

We inform you that by participating in this survey, you consent in particular to the possible reuse of your answers for scientific research purposes of public interest (aggregated data only and without identifying information).
