Students looking for internships or jobs often ask themselves which company would best fit their expectations and aspirations, or wonder about the work atmosphere… Meilleures-entreprises.com gives students and graduates the opportunity to consult the opinion of the recruiting company’s interns, employees and candidates, and allows them to in turn to give their own opinion. We asked Celica Thellier, co-founder, to explain the functioning of these surveys and ranking…

What is Meilleures-entreprises.com ?

Célica Thellier (C.T) - Meilleures-entreprises.com was founded in 2011 by HR, IT & Digital professionals in order to develop employers’ performance and reputation thanks to its employees’ (HappyAtWork), interns’ (HappyTrainees) and candidates’(HappyCandidates) contributions. These comments and evaluations, collected through specialized surveys, are then passed on to our digital platforms (website, mobile application, social and professional network) and can be accessed, in all transparency. To date, more than 4 500 companies have been evaluated and more than 500 000 people have been reached by these surveys on meilleures-entreprises.com. Our goal : to assist students in choosing the assignments and company which suit them best.

C.T. –Finding one’s working life enjoyable is a modern concept which combines the notions of pleasure, self-development, motivation and meaning. The « Happy » approach offers an analysis of personal development, available to all. In this sense, HappyTrainee is a label directly linked with the students and positions itself today as the 1rst label guaranteeing the quality of internships and traineeships. Concretely, this label’s aim is to promote the companies where being an intern or a trainee can be enjoyable. At the beginning of every school year, the best companies are highlighted in well-known economic daily newspapers such as Les Echos or le Figaro. 

​Surveys intended for the employers better match students’ expectations

Companies receive students’ feedback via the site Meilleures-entreprises.com. This precious feedback enables employers to make progress on their management and on the motivation of the students entrusted to them. By answering the expectation survey, the companies will better understand Sciences Po students and can meet their expectations or wishes in terms of content and quality through the internship or traineeship tasks they give.

 The more students comment on companies, the better and richer the information becomes…

Answering the survey is working on one’s personal development

By answering the HappyTrainee survey, students can carry out an effort of personal development which will also them to discover what is important and evaluate what their personal experience taught them. All information, collected anonymously, is later made available in a transparent manner, allowing them to:

  •  Find out the certified opinions of young graduates, interns, trainees and candidates on their experience in the company
  •  Compare the starting salaries and internship grants, company by company
  •  Come into contact with students having worked in the companies they are interested in
