China Energy Fund Committee

China Energy Fund Committee is a non-governmental, non-profit civil organization with special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Committee. It is financed by a special private fund fully sponsored by CEFC China Co., Ltd.  The committee serves as a high-end strategic think tank engaged in energy strategy research, energy and public diplomacy, and global energy cooperation and cultural exchange.

CEFC intends to assemble the most outstanding minds at home and abroad to achieve the aforementioned two goals. Those minds include Prof. Xu Jialu, Former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress; Prof. Cheng Siwei, Former Vice Chairman of the National People’s Congress; Mr. Zhang Guobao, former Director of the National Energy Administration; and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, etc.

Our partnerships include the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, the National Committee on US-China Relations, Harvard University Asia Center, RAND Corporation, International Energy Agency, and many other well respected think tanks. We hold several dialogues with our partners every year to discuss Sino-US energy cooperation, confidence building in Asia Pacific, etc. and have achieved fantastic results.

Opportunités & missions pour nos étudiants

We look for students who are interested to do an internship as assistant researcher. His/her major responsibilities include:

  1. Assist the research department to study on international relations and international energy issues;
  2. Assist with the collection and search of information and data, participate in project researches;
  3. Participate in international academic forums and internal seminars.

Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate students in third year or graduate students, preferably majoring in international relations and energy;
  2. Good English speaking and writing skills;
  3. Ability to collect info/data and analyse;
  4. Ability to research independently;
  5. Team spirit.
