En créant l’association HandiEM (Handicap Entreprises du Médicament) en mai 2010, le LEEM, ses partenaires sociaux et ses adhérents affichent pour la première fois en France la volonté d’une politique sectorielle active de maintien et de développement de l’emploi des personnes handicapées dans le domaine de la santé.
HandiEM stimule cet engagement, lui donne une résonnance forte et des  moyens collectifs.
A ce titre, en complément des acteurs institutionnels, HandiEM met en œuvre notamment

  • un plan d’embauche pour le recrutement sur cinq ans de 440 travailleurs handicapés,
  • un plan de maintien dans l’emploi et d’adaptation aux mutations technologiques,
  • une politique ambitieuse de formation  professionnalisante.
