Congrès du Conseil de l'Europe (Congrès des Pouvoirs Locaux et Régionaux)
The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities is an institution of the Council of Europe bringing together 648 elected officials representing more than 200 000 local and regional authorities. It is responsible for strengthening local and regional democracy in its 47 member states and assessing the application of the European Charter of Local Self-Government. This mission is carried out through regular country-by-country monitoring visits, local and regional election observation missions, as well as cooperation and thematic activities.

The Congress is in a position to welcome trainees in 2019-2020 for 6 months internships. Please note that these internships are not paid. Two internship programmes are open throughout the year, with internships starting around February and September. Applications are open on a rolling basis.
