Les Graduate Programmes

These in-company contracts are increasingly attractive to the best young graduates, and work like fast-track induction for positions of responsibility.
What is a graduate programme?
A graduate programme is a recruitment programme designed for young graduates with 5 years' higher education. They are generally aimed at the best students from engineering, business or marketing schools. Graduate programmes work like accelerated in-company training courses, enabling companies to train potential future operational managers in-house for 2 or 3 years.
The tasks carried out during a graduate programme can vary enormously, and candidates have the opportunity to work in several departments within the company or even abroad. A good level of English is therefore a prerequisite for most applicants.
On the plus side, the graduate programme enables you to take a wide range of professional training courses and consolidate your professional network effectively.
How do you apply?
Selection is highly competitive and takes place in several stages. First of all, there is a pre-selection phase based on an application with a covering letter and CV. Then, there is often a second stage involving online or face-to-face tests, a telephone interview and a meeting with a line manager.
With a recruitment process like this, it is advisable to prepare a year in advance. You need to find out all you can about the company and the course you have chosen. Make sure you don't miss the registration session, which lasts around two months.
